Submitted on behalf of the members of the Canadian Association for Pharmacy Distribution Management (CAPDM, now Vital), Vital’s response to the PMPRB’s 2022 Consultation reflected that Vital members support medicine affordability, but not at the cost of accessibility. Vital urged the PMPRB to suspend the current consultation process, to undertake comprehensive consultation with all supply chain stakeholders, and to conduct impact assessments of the Draft Guidelines to inform and protect affordability and accessibility of medications for all Canadians.
